For this article, we will be using a calendar year as a period of time. Let's start with the first number -- there are 365 days in a year.

Weekends are automatically excluded by Quantify, leaving around 261 workdays.

Next round is to exclude public holidays. In Quantify settings, you can define Country and Region to do that. Let's say it is about 10 days.

Exclusions so far are applied to everybody. 251 day will be the maximum that an employee can work.

The final step is to add time off periods for individuals. Depending on the organization, let's say it is 15 days.

The total available time for an employee is around 236 days per year.
